Founded in 1997 by sisters, Cindy Johnson and Jeanie Peterson, and located in Denver’s prestigious Cherry Creek North shopping district, SOL has grown into one of the cornerstones of the areas’ independently owned boutiques. Cindy Johnson, who is one of the nation’s top fitters and has over 20 years of experience, extensively trains SOL’s expert fitters.She’s been featured on the TODAY show several times and her passion and expertise about bras are contagious.

SOL’s mission is to provide women with beautiful, comfortable, perfectly fitting bras and sleepwear while offering a superior level of customer service. And most importantly, to make bra shopping fun!

THE GATHERING PLACE BRA DRIVE

Cindy Johnson learned of the dire need for bras at The Gathering Place when she dropped a box of over 200 bras off and was told they would all be gone in one day. SOL’s Bra Drive was born.

SOL designed a bra distribution center complete with fitting rooms at the Gathering Place facility. We collect gently worn bras all year long from our customers and once a month SOL’s staff donate their time to provide bra fittings for the women of the shelter. To date, more than 2500 bras have been distributed.

MORGAN ADAMS FOUNDATION

Morgan Adams, the daughter of SOL’s original photographer passed away from a rare brain tumor when she was 6. Her parents, Joan Slaughter and Steven Adams, formed the Morgan Adams Foundation in her honor. As of November 2008, the foundation has funded one million dollars in research to raise awareness and fight pediatric cancer.

SOL is a corporate sponsor of ARTMA (art for Morgan Adams), one of the Foundation’s main events. The next artma will be on February 6, 2010! artma is a unique biennial art auction featuring over 200 pieces of art which are donated by local, regional and national artists.

RE-USABLE BILLBOARD BAGS

SOL is recycling all of its old billboards and window displays into cool, one-of-a-kind re-usable tote bags thanks to a local company called Billboard Ecology.

SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES

SOL believes in supporting local business. Our current ad campaign was shot at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum located in Lowry, Colorado. All local talent was used for the photoshoot.

KID FRIENDLY

Kids love coming to SOL too! They are always delighted to see the fish in our fountain, and they like playing with the toys in our toy box too!
